How to use Daily
This short guide walks you through the typical steps to roll out Daily to your team, from first login to getting value from daily reports.
1. Sign in and create your workspace
Use email or OAuth to sign in, then create or join an organization. This organization is your team workspace where all daily reports, tasks and projects live.
2. Invite your team members
Invite colleagues by email so everyone can submit their own daily report. You can group people by department or project to make overviews easier to read.
3. Set up departments, task types and projects
In Daily, departments, task types and projects give structure to your work. Create the main departments your team uses, define a few task types (bug, feature, ops ticket, etc.) and add active projects so that future tasks and reports can be categorized clearly.
4. Use views and reports to review progress
Use the task, project and report views to quickly see who is doing what, where work is stuck and which projects are moving forward.
5. Adjust the process with your team
Start simple, then tweak fields, routines and expectations with your team so that daily reports stay short, useful and sustainable over time.
